The story: The first time we met Irma, she told us her stove was broken. Without a working range, oven or microwave, every meal her family shared was either fast food or eaten cold.

She said her kids didn’t even ask for toys or clothes, they just wanted hot meals and simple comfort foods like baked goods and cookies. Thankfully, Abt Electronics sold us a brand new oven at cost, delivered it and removed her old one for recycling—all with the comforting courtesy of a bilingual delivery person.

Our pals at Tipsy Cake (who know all about sweets and ovens) got in on the donation too, thanks to them for helping to give this family a more functional kitchen.
