Baby supplies are very expensive, and put a great burden on the already stressful situation of becoming parents for the first time. For Shantá and Marvin, the baby supplies they received from Reason to Give couldn't have come at a better time. Their story was also featured on ABC7 Chicago News at 5. In December of 2009, the young couple also received winter coats for the baby and for themselves. Additionally, they were given a $250 holiday gift card to ease the difficulty many famillies feel during the holidays and the winter months in general.
