Why not support Reason to Give youth by giving whatever you can
In January of 2013, we introduced a Youth Workshop program; an opportunity for the children of the adult workshop participants and other Humboldt Park youth to engage in workshops dedicated to education, health, communication, and building self-esteem. The youth dedicated much of their time to raising awareness around the closing of Lafayette Elementary School and the other CPS schools. They also planned a talent show to entertain their parents at the Live and Learn Adult Initiative graduation ceremony.
We will be continuing the Reason to Give Youth Initiative and hope to reach more local youth in the coming years.
The next Reason to Give Youth workshop series will begin in September 2013.
